LLM. An LLM, or Master of Laws, is the degree awarded after finishing advanced and specialized analysis in a specific area of law. An LLM can only be pursued after getting an expert law degree, but an LLM is typically not needed to practice law
The LL.M. program may be pursued solely by the scholars who have successfully completed their under-graduation in law i.e. LL.B/B.L. Degree/5 Year LL.B. Degree course under 10+2+5 from any recognized university with at least minimum aggregate marks as per institutes demand.
Certain seats are reserved or are allocated to Foreign Nationals. Students will take admission through common entrance test control by the colleges.
Generally, universities providing LL.M. course conduct an Entrance Test for admission to the program. the applying forms for this course area available in the month of May every year.
The entrance test paper contains around 150 questions which may be both objective and subjective in nature. The period of the examination is 2 hours which has negative marking for objective kindquestions. The marks deducte dare typically 1/4th of the marks allotted to the question.
